What
Makes a Great Place to Work®?
Ms. Connie Roy-Czyzowski
Vice President of Human Resources for Northeast Delta Dental
At the heart of the
definition of a great place to work - a place
where employees "trust the people they work for,
have pride in what they do, and enjoy the people
they work with" - is the idea that a great
workplace is measured by the quality of the
three, interconnected relationships that exist
there:
The relationship between employees and management.
The relationship between employees and their
jobs/company.
The relationship between employees and other employees.
Roanoke Valley SHRM is pleased to sponsor our
May speaker, Ms. Connie Roy-Czyzowski, Vice
President of Human Resources for Northeast Delta
Dental.
Connie has led the culture change initiative at
her 200 (+/-) employee company which has
resulted in their national recognition as a
Great Place to Work, several years in a row. As
competition becomes tougher to recruit and
retain talent, organizations who distinguish
themselves as a Great Place to Work will have an
edge. Please join us on Tuesday, May 23, as
Connie describes some of Northeast Delta
Dental's best practices. We will also hear more
about the Great Places to Work recognition
endorsed by SHRM for small - medium size
employers.
