“Creating a Corporate Coaching Environment:
Keys to Inspired Leadership and Bottom Line Success”
Presented by Kate Steinbacher, PCC
The Coaching Advantage
To achieve breakthrough results in your business, career and your personal life, you want a coach in your corner empowering you each step of the way. Personal, Business and Career Coaching helps you venture out of your comfort zone and into the realm of possibility where new ideas and growth thrive, making change an ally for your success, instead of a stumbling block to momentum.
Through the art of coaching, Kate Steinbacher opens the door to partnership, collaboration, taking action and building on ones strengths and experiences to enhance productivity, profitability, and sustained high performance.
Please make reservations by utilizing the on-line event reservation form or e-mailing Joy Hanson at jhanson@rkehousing.org. Please include "RVSHRM RSVP" in the subject line. Registration Deadline is Thursday, July 17.

***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT CONCERNING MEETING RESERVATIONS***
All reservations for the monthly meeting are required to be made by the Friday before the meeting. The Hotel Roanoke wants our final count on Friday and is not lenient with late additions. We can not accept any reservations past the Friday deadline. It is at the discretion of the individual to arrive on meeting day without a reservation and wait to possibly take the spot of a “no show.”
Thank you for your cooperation. |

Lionel Richie entertained us with his music and humor |

There are many benefits of participating in the RVSHRM Board. Over the years, I have developed great friendships, particularly after I began to get involved as a Board member. Since I’m not a “social butterfly”, I find it easier to bond when I have a specific role or function in a networking environment. As we begin to face the second half of 2008, I encourage you to consider your involvement in RVSHRM. Soon we will revisit our succession plan for Board and Committee Members for RVSHRM. My challenge to you: What would your professional life and RVSHRM membership look like if you were more involved in this organization and had more acquaintances and friends in the RVSHRM community? If you are ready to give a bit and receive a lot, please send me your name as we’d like to see how we can get you more involved!
Another GREAT benefit of the President role in RVSHRM, is attending the SHRM National Meeting which was recently held in Chicago. It was a whirlwind event with nearly 15,000 participants! Several RVSHRM members attended although there were so many people that it seemed that we were sometimes ships passing in the night. There were MANY wonderful perspectives offered from companies such as Google and we were able to laugh at life with Steve Gilliland, one of the highlights was Tuesday evening when Lionel Richie performed his greatest hits and allowed us to enjoy the charm that he brings to stage as a true entertainer.
Regards,
Johna Campbell |
